Rebuilding Citizen Review Panels: One State’s Journey –
Citizen Review Panels (CRPs) can play an important role in efforts to promote positive child welfare outcomes for children and families. In 2015, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) contracted with The Ohio State University (OSU) to develop three Citizen Review Panels in the state. Join us for this interactive webinar on the revitalization process, including:
- Factors leading to Ohio’s decision to rebuild the CRPs
- Administrative strategic planning completed by OSU to begin the restructuring
- Specific training curriculum and recruitment efforts conducted in Ohio
- The process for providing child welfare data to the panels
ODJFS and OSU will also provide details on lessons learned throughout the course of creating the new panels and respond to Q&A.
