Sharon Sparks

Sharon Sparks has lived in Nome for over 50 years. She currently works as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Victim Associate for the Police Department with the City of Nome. Sharon has over 20 years of experience working in the human services field, serving and advocating for children and families in Alaska. She has held a variety of volunteer positions, such as a board member for the regional hospital and non-profit consortium, as well as a council member for the local Tribe. Sharon is passionate about making positive changes for children and families through her work with the Citizen Review Panel.
