Rabbi Abram Goodstein

Abram Goodstein was raised in Anchorage Alaska and graduated from Lake Otis Elementary school, Hanshew Middle School, and  Service High School. He  attended the University of Oregon where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies. A number of years later he graduated from Rabbinical School and moved back to Anchorage to work as a rabbi in his home congregation, Congregation Beth Sholom. Since then he has been focused on improving child welfare in Alaska specifically for early childhood education. He spent the last seven years advocating for early childhood education as a parent, administrator, and teacher in early education. Furthermore, through his congregation Rabbi Abram works with children of all ages. He believes that Alaska is an incredible place for a child to grow up, raising his own two children with his wife and dog.
