Desiré Shepler serves as the President/CEO of Alaska Family Services, a social service nonprofit that is “in service to Alaskans, families, and communities to collectively create a better tomorrow.” Desiré believes in the power of community driven efforts and is passionate about helping to create systems and social supports that foster thriving families and well cared for children. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Desiré lives in her hometown of Palmer, Alaska with her partner and is slowly adjusting to having three children away at college.
