FAIRBANKS — The Alaska Citizen Review Panel is following up on an investigation into the inner workings of the Office of Children’s Services and allegations of failure made by Republican Rep. Tammie Wilson, of North Pole.

The Alaska Citizen Review Panel continued its critical examination of its own purpose, structure, and processes; significantly increased its public outreach, and developed better understanding of all three its mandated functions.

Provides a quick overview of the 2017 Statewide Assessment prepared by OCS as part of the federal Children and Family Services Review.

The Citizen Review Panel presented to the Tribal State Collaboration Group (TSCG) on May 4th.

The Alaska CRP hosted the national conference May 10-12, 2017 in Anchorage, Alaska – Click for more details and link to the conference website.

The CRP presented to the Alaska Senate Health and Social Services Committee on March 20th at 1:30pm and the House Health and Social Services Committee on March 21st at 3:00pm.

The CRP chair participated in a discussion titled Supporting Foster Care on the Talk of Alaska radio show.
